Film Script for Sunday 19th January

Props needed:

scenes to be shot:

Joe and Georgia walking to the car door- tracking shot must show georgia moving towards her passenger door whilst joe taps her to show her the young girl who is alone in the car park

Elevator buttons being pressed- Close up of Georgia's fingers pushing th ebuttons frantically in the lift

Lift door open: Over the shoulder shot from Georgia's shoulder where the possesed girl is standing outside the lift with her back to them
Then, she turns slowly towards them and the shot changes to a close up on the little girls face

Glasses scene- redo glasses scene- point of view shot of the fall and mid shot of Georgia getting up from falling

Running into the lift- High angle shot (like CCTV) that shows joe running into the lift followed by Georgia

CCTV of Georgia and Joe in the lift- high angle shot- Georgia thrashing the buttons

Seeing the lair scene- tracking shot as the pair come down the stairs, then close up on their faces revealing their rection to the lair and little girl. Over the shoulder shot from the possesed girls behind with Georgia and Joe looking at her in disbelief

We will need to make time to set up the lair- this can be done by Mark and Abbie as the others do the lift scenes and car park scenes. As well as this, we will need to pick the best time of the day to do the car park scenes as weather and lighting needs to be good. This will most likely need to be done as the first scene when it is brighter and earlier.

As the girl we are using is young, we want to get most of her shots out of the way early in the day, when it is brighter, safer and she is less tired from spending the whole day filming. So, I have scheduled all of her shots first to ensure she isn't there too long. 

As well as this, I've tried to keep the lair scene as late in the day as possible but still include the young girl because the lair takes so long to set up.

film script- jan 26th

On January 26th we will be re-filming the following scenes:


1. Re-filming the young girl walking into the staircase: we are re-filming this because the original footage was too dark to use in editing, it was also difficult to lighten and so needs to be completely re-filmed.

Camera angles to use:

•  Long shot: We will be filming a shot of the young girl from far away, and the two victims will run into the shot after her. This is to emphasise how small and young the girl actually is, but it will also be far away so as not to give her personality away too much. We still want her to look small and innocent here.
• Two shot: Filming the victims running after her into the door to the stairwell. 

Props needed: 

• Young girl painted white
• Costumes for both victims (At end of post)
• glasses for the female victim.
• Bags for the victims walking to the car

2. Glasses scene: We are re-filming this because we feel that the glasses fell slightly too far away from the camera, and the victim did not run past them with a large amount of enthusiasm. Also the young girl was wearing blue socks, which had no relevance to our film opening or our genre.

Camera angles to film and use for this scene: 

• Point of view shot: Girl will be running up the stairs behind her boyfriend, we will be using a point of view shot to emphasise the panic that the girl is going through because a point of view shot mirrors the erratic movements of the victim.  
• Low angle shot: This will be of the victim and the young girls feet as they run past the camera after the girl has fallen over. 
• High angled shot: We will be testing this type of shot because we need extra camera angles for the fast-paced straight cut edits we will be using in this scene. 

Props needed for this scene:

• Young girl needs to be painted white

3. CCTV Lift reveal: We are going to be filming this scene because we need to make sure that the cuts between the scenes are perfect and that the straight cut edits match up with the acting of the victims and the young girl. 

Camera angles for this scene:

• CCTV high angled shot: This will be in the corner of the lift and it will film the doors opening with the young girl in front of them, this will be filmed before the doors open because we need to film the victims reactions. 
• Over the shoulder shot: We will be filming the lift opening from behind the female and male victims shoulder, so that we can see the young girl as the lift doors open. 
• Mid shot: We will frame the young girl in a mid shot with the lift behind her, the lift will open and we will be able to see the reaction on the victims faces. 

Props for this scene: 

• Costumes on both of the victims (At end of post)
• Young girl painted white

4. Lair scene: We need to re-film this as we missed a camera angle last time. We are re-filming the whole thing because we cannot stick the images up in exactly the same place as they were before. 

Camera angles:

• Over the shoulder shot: Over the young girls shoulder so that we can see the reactions of the victims in the background.  
• Two shot: Of two victims walking down the stairs and seeing the lair, they will enter and leave the shot in this time 
• High angled shot: This will be of the young girl as she is playing with the jack in the box.
