Preliminary Task

  For our first task, we were told to make a short video which incorporated the following: 180 degree shot, reverse shot, match shot and dialogue.
  We decided to incorporate comedy into the video, so that it was more entertaining, as we didn't have the resources yet to create any other genres. 
  We only used the school grounds for filming, so it was only obvious that we would use a story that was based in the school, and aimed towards people out age.

Storyboard






  To plan out our preliminary task, we made a rough storyboard to start off with to illustrate what camera shots and angles do we want, and what we want to portray to the audience. Here's the rough sketches.
 Here you can see that these drawings were extremely quick and simple, as we had very little time to prepare this, and we only did enough so that every member of our team knew what shots we had to do and what camera angles we would use.
 We then decided to tidy up the storyboard a bit, by printing out a storyboard template with the description of the scenes already typed onto it, and then we spent more time on the drawings, so that it was presentable, and that it was understandable to what is going on in the scene.
