Pros and Cons and Deconstruction of a Supernatural Horror

I first looked at the Pros and Cons of Supernatural Horrors. I feel this will be a good genre to do our media coursework on, as they appear to be quite simple to make yet very effective to the audience watching the film. I managed to come up with more pros than cons for a Supernatural Horror therefore it seems logical to attempt to create on.

I then deconstructed one of the best Supernatural Horror Films released within the previous 5 years - Sinister. I did this as I feel we needed to know more about the genre before w could jump straight into the creation of a Supernatural Horror. I deconstructed the film based on sound, lighting and audience reactions to these characteristics. I chose three screenshots, one from the beginning of the film, another where the film began to become more tense and one where the audience finally see the villain.
