Video Editing

  I attempted to edit a video's lighting so that it would look as if it is from a scene which we wish to include in our final product, which will take place in the lift.

  I used Final Cut Pro for the editing, and before I started to edit, I filmed a short clip in my toilet, as it was the smallest confined space I could find, which was easily accessible.

  For the blackouts, I just turned the lights on and off, and videoed it.

  As you can see, I have added a number of effects onto the video so that the desired effect is created. I saturated the video clip, and then I added a green hue to it. I then used an inbuilt preset in Final Cut Pro to add some noise to the clip so that it would look as though it is on a cctv camera.

  During the blackout scenes, I decided to cut the beginning of the blackout, so that it would have a clean straight cut into the darkness, instead of gradually going into it, like in the original clip. 

  Then i added a flash into some of the scenes, so that it would create a shock effect, and I zoomed into some of the scenes, so that it creates some confusion.
